Tempo, derived from Spanish, means "time" or "rhythm." The Tempo Ring embodies this concept through its design, inspired by Peru's rich Hispanic heritage. Crafted with a repetitive mother-of-pearl motif, the ring reflects a rhythmic pattern, evoking the essence of time's continuity. Each delicate detail captures the harmonious interplay of cultural influences, while the luminous mother-of-pearl brings a touch of elegance. The Tempo Ring is a timeless piece, uniting history and beauty in a mesmerizing rhythm.
Each piece is made using sustainably sourced mother-of-pearl shells collected from the northern coast of Peru, where an ongoing conservation project is working to restore the region’s biodiversity. In partnership with a local NGO, this initiative supports the regeneration of marine ecosystems in Cabo Blanco while providing eco-conscious livelihoods to nearby communities. The mother-of-pearl is carefully selected for its natural luster and character - no two pieces are alike. Handcrafted in limited quantities, these designs honor the beauty of the ocean and the importance of protecting it.
