The word Achiq means "clear" or "bright" in Quechua, embodying the qualities of clarity and brilliance. The Achiq earrings reflect this meaning beautifully, featuring luminous Mother of Pearl that showcases its natural iridescence and intricate textures. The play of light brings out its iridescent colors, creating a captivating effect with each movement. A stunning piece that celebrates the elegance of nature's finest details.
Each piece is made using sustainably sourced mother-of-pearl shells collected from the northern coast of Peru, where an ongoing conservation project is working to restore the region’s biodiversity. In partnership with a local NGO, this initiative supports the regeneration of marine ecosystems in Cabo Blanco while providing eco-conscious livelihoods to nearby communities. The mother-of-pearl is carefully selected for its natural luster and character - no two pieces are alike. Handcrafted in limited quantities, these designs honor the beauty of the ocean and the importance of protecting it.
