About Zelmira

Atelier Zelmira is a jewelry brand that celebrates Peruvian craftsmanship, sustainability, and heritage. Created by Katerina Nordgaard Masias, the brand is named in memory of her grandmother, Denise Zelmira Marie Guislain, a talented jewelry designer who instilled in Katerina a deep appreciation for the beauty and artistry of jewelry design. Dedicated to honoring her legacy, Atelier Zelmira reflects the skills, passion, and values she passed down.

Each piece is handcrafted in Peru by skilled local artisans using sustainably sourced materials, including seeds from the Amazon Rainforest, recycled silver, and Mother of Pearl shells that support an ongoing conservation project in the Northern region of Peru Cabo Blanco. This initiative sustainably harvests Mother of Pearl shells to restore the area’s ecosystem and biodiversity.
